SYNOPSIS

Human Resource Management (HRM) refers to all of the formal processes designed to assist in the management of employees and other stakeholders inside a firm. Human resource management is in charge of three major functions: staff recruiting and compensation, as well as job assignment. Ideally, HRM's role is to determine the best approach to boost an organization's productivity through its people. Despite the business world's ever-increasing rate of change, the HRM job is unlikely to change considerably.

The human resources department is responsible for finding talent needs in a firm, advertising for vacancies, screening possible candidates, and employing top personnel. Human resource management does not just handle the recruitment of new employees; it also oversees redundancy for companies that want to downsize. HR management also oversees orientation programs to introduce new employees to the company’s goals, objectives, and policies. Overall, human resource management guarantees the smooth running of employees within a company.

Because it covers the evolution of HRM, concepts, theories, practice, research, and job descriptions, the book would make a good college text. The author appears to have two objectives: provide thorough knowledge about human resource management and persuade upper-level managers to incorporate HRM into strategic planning. This would enable HR departments to produce larger corporate outcomes. Given the textbook format of this manual, practitioners may want to study it chapter by chapter to get the most out of it. Because organizational beliefs, functions, and procedures differ, it even leads to additional debate when HRM specialists convene to share ideas and swap proven techniques. Get abstract believes that folks in the field will benefit much from this book.
